A New Garden Centre In Las Palmas

La Casa de Las Semillas by the old stadium, always a quality place for houseplants, has moved to the ground floor of the British Club building on León y Castillo (by the Ayuntamiento building).

There’s a big outdoor area with succulents, garden plants and flowers, fruit trees, etc., and an indoor area for house plants, orchids, seeds and gardening supplies. Prices are equivalent to the big out-of-town viveros like Godoy in Costa Ayala,  El Rosal in Carrizal and Viveros Mogán.

Open every day; 09.00 to 20.00 Monday to Saturday, closes at 14.00 on Sundays. It’s also really convenient thanks to the on-site parking.  I would never dream of suggesting that you combine your appointment at the town hall with buying a calathea just for the parking.

You can also access it from the Parque Romano running track and park.
