Triana: Modernist And Shopping Paradise

If Vegueta is the Old Town, then Triana is the Modernist town; Many of its buildings date to the 1920s and have the characteristic wrought iron balconies.
Triana may be one of the oldest areas of Las Palmas but it’s still got plenty going on. It was recently voted Spain’s best outdoor shopping area and is packed with restaurants, cafes and tapas bars.
Property in Triana goes from apartments and flats in both modern and converted old buildings to exquisite townhouses with all their period features intact.
It’s a convenient location if you need easy access to the airport, bus transport to the south and the port, but is long way from Las Canteras beach.
